Founder’s Message

Emergence Bilingual Nursery and Primary school was founded in September 1995 with the aim of providing quality education in a perfectly bilingual school context.

As a Cameroonian of English expression, I developed a great interest in the French language during my secondary school years. This interest ushered me into a world of languages in which I also learned Spanish and German in the university, in the good old USA

Language, as we all know, is a significant part of culture. Knowing a language enables one to interact comfortably with the people of that culture. At the same time, it open’s more opportunities in our professional lives.

As Cameroonians, we are truly privileged to learn two languages and any effort to foster to this national option.

-I believe, should not be spared.

With this in mind, coupled with my love for children, I was, motivated to create a perfectly bilingual school; educating children between the ages of 2 – 10 years. Who graduate with excellent results at the CEPE; Common Entrance Examination, or both. These children, graduate with a very good base in both languages, and this will excel them when they go to a French secondary school where English is taught as a subject or an English secondary school where French is also taught or a Bilingual school system.

Over the past 10 years, we have grown at a very satisfactory rate. This growth coupled with the fact that, our children have come out at the Top scoring 100% in all competitive examinations, makes me believe that my vision is being shared by many other parents today.

As we look ahead, we recognize that the predominant role information technology will play in our lives and careers and our efforts will continue to build on the facilities we already have.

This will make our children better equipped to play a vital role in the Cameroon of tomorrow and the world at large.

I take this opportunity to thank the parents of our school, particularly the first group of their encouragement.

My sincere thanks to my family, my three wonderful children Leena, Junior and Terence, who have never ceased to “Pray for Emergence”.

The inner circle, headed by Lady Kate and my Serendipity sisters. My sisters Margaret, Adeline, and Mary Ann you’ve been truly marvelous. To my staff that has worked tirelessly, thanks to all of you. Lastly and most importantly, I thank the ALMIGHTY GOD for blessing me so abundantly.
